2000 Hour Diploma Program:

The 2000-hour Shiatsupractor® Diploma Program can take two years to complete. Classes begin in September. In the first year, Class Room Study is held Monday to Friday evening. At the end of the first year the student begins Clinical Experience including School Clinic and Field Work. The School Clinic is open 7 days a week allowing the student to "fast track" the practicum portion of the program if necessary. Field Work is scheduled for community events as they occur.


The Shiatsu Therapist Certificate Course:

Course Length: 5 months, 406.5 hours
Students will learn the basic principles and techniques of Shiatsu Therapy which includes Shiatsu Clinical experience and basic knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology. At the end of month, the student begins clinical experience at school clinic. Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a certificate which is transferable to the 2000-hour ShiatsupractorR Diploma Program. Graduates are eligible to apply to the Canadian Shiatsu Society of BC for membership.
*A work perimit is required to resister the Shitsu thrapist certificate course.

The Shiatsu Foundation Certificate Course:
Course Length: 17-week, 153 hour course in the basic principles and techniques of Shiatsu Therapy.
Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a certificate which is transferable to the 2000-hour Shiatsupractor® Diploma Program. Graduates are eligible to apply to the Canadian Shiatsu Society of BC for membership.

The Chair-Shiatsu Certificate Course:

Course length: 7-week, 63 hour course on Shiatsu Theory, Self-Shiatsu Treatments and Chair-Shiatsu Treatments.
Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a Chair-Shiatsu certificate which is transferable to The Shiatsu Foundation Certificate Course, or the 2000-hour ShiatsupractorR Diploma Program. Graduates are eligible to apply to the Canadian Shiatsu Society of BC for membership.
